The Parker Emerging FX Index took a 25.34 per cent dive during August, based on reported results. On a risk-adjusted basis, however, losses were more modest. The risk-weighted index was down just 4.93 per cent for the month. The Parker Emerging FX Index is the only benchmark tracking the performance of managers who invest in emerging markets currencies as an asset class. Year-to-date, the index is down 21.26 per cent on a reported basis and negative 4.48 per cent on a risk-adjusted basis.
