Greenwich Report Finds Increased Derivatives Use Among Europeans

Greenwich Associates' latest report on the treasury markets in continental Europe and the U.K. finds that, while volume is generally down, volatility in the FX markets is increasing, leading to greater use of such hedging instruments as derivatives.

However, the report finds that nearly 80 per cent of European companies surveyed have made no changes in their derivatives management practices over the past year.
