Prebon Survey Finds FX Traders Pessimistic About Asian Outlook

HONG KONG--Prebon Yamane has released a follow-up "Asian Sentiment Survey" to its March report, which paints a pessimistic picture of the region's medium-term outlook. In a euro supplement to the survey, the report says as much as 60 per cent of trading in the region is proprietary, rather than customer, driven.

"Credit quality among Asian corporates is still deteriorating, leading to an even greater unwillingness to take on Asian counterparty risk. Continuing volatility and high interest rates
