Prebon Yamane Shows Higher Profits For Latest Half-Year Reporting Period

Prebon Yamane reports a 27 per cent increase in consolidated operating profits for the latest interim period ended March 31, as well as nearly 10 per cent growth in net brokerage revenues, compared to a year ago. Prebon officials cite its "diverse geographical coverage" as one of the reasons behind its improved results, and add that the group expects to maintain an increase on the corresponding period in the second half as well.
