EBS Buys Citicorp Dealing Resources After Months Of Talks and Speculation

The EBS Partnership, which owns the Electronic Broking Service (EBS), has bought its technology provider Citicorp Dealing Resources (CDR) from Citibank, the consortium announced today. The deal was consummated on June 28 after more than six months of negotiation and several years of intermittent discussion of the sale, according to sources within the group.

EBS, which had veto power over CDR's sale to any other company, scuppered a deal Citibank had negotiated with information vendor and dealing
