Kredietbank Expands In Asia With Plans For Full Singapore Branch

Kredietbank of Belgium is moving ahead with plans to open a full branch in Singapore in September, initially as a deposit taking operation but with foreign exchange to be added later, according to sources in Brussels.
In the meantime Kredietbank's biggest rival, Generale Bank, is eschewing "dreams" of opening more overseas operations preferring to build its reputation "as a strong European regional bank with its customer base in a radius of 400 to 500 kilometers from Brussels," according to a
