Chase Revamps Singapore Forex Team With An Eye To Expanding G10 Coverage

SINGAPORE--Chase Manhattan Bank in Singapore is revamping its G10 foreign exchange desk, having recently added several new traders who will replace three outgoing dealers, say officials. The bank has also restructured the forex group to reflect the bank's renewed focus on the G10 currencies, says Peter Newman, who recently transferred to Singapore to head the G10 team.
In a split of the previous structure, whereby FX manager CK Lam ran the entire division, the bank has placed the 10-strong G10
