StanChart Inaugurates New Room In Singapore To Aid Expansion Plans

As part of its move to expand its foreign exchange, options and Asian currency products and strengthen its regional presence in Asia, Standard Chartered Bank in Singapore has today officially opened its new 90-position treasury dealing room, according to Mike Rees, StanChart's regional treasurer based in the Lion City. The room was built around its existing dealing room at 6 Battery Road and is the largest treasury dealing room in the StanChart Group, officials say.
