Transaction Products Lead Reuters Results As Dealing 2000-2 Reaches Daily Milestone

Average daily transactions on Reuters Dealing 2000-2 foreign exchange matching service "comfortably exceeded" 10,000 per day in January, Reuters Holdings chief executive Peter Job announced last week. The company's annual results showed a 16 per cent rise in pre-tax profits on 23 per cent growth in revenues. Transaction products continued to be the company's fastest growing product line, with revenues up 34 per cent last year to £527 million.
