Royal Bank Of Canada Forms Global Unit To Coordinate Foreign Exchange Trading

Royal Bank of Canada and RBC Dominion Securities are combining their operations into a group trading unit by this summer, officials announced last week. The combination will merge RBC Dominion Securities Group with RBC Treasury, which will comprise the Global Trading Unit (GTU), under which the bank is globalising its treasury operation along product lines.

GTU will be co-managed by Andy Scace, vice president and director of RBC DS fixed income, and Paul Taylor, executive vice president of RBC
