UK Company Gets 700 Inquiries For Real-Time FX Web Service

Currency Management Corporation (CMC), a London-based foreign exchange company, is claiming a first with the launch of a 24-hour Internet-based forex trading service. On May 1, the company began the first phase of the operation, publishing real-time forex prices on its web site. It attracted about 700 inquiries on the first day alone.

Later this month, it will add a trading element to the software, allowing its clients to execute forex deals from their PCs. Initially, 12 currencies will be shown
