GFI unveils Fenics 2002 upgrade

LONDON -- Interdealer broker GFI will today (April 29) announce details of enhancements to its Fenics options pricing system, which is used by an estimated 85% of global options dealers.

The upgrade, Fenics 2002, will be launched on May 23 at industry body ACI’s European congress in Luxembourg, and is now being beta-tested by a range of unnamed banks.

Enhancements

Enhancements and new functionality have been added for each of the three elements that make up an FX options price -- market data
