CAI replaces data retrieval system

LONDON – Credit Agricole Indosuez (CAI) has installed data retrieval software from RCP Consultants at dealing floors in London and Bahrain. The system, called Deal Browser, replaces Reuters’ technology for storing text and data.

Deal Browser records text conversations online, but stores data offline on archived CDs.

CAI is using the system to replace 18 printers at its London dealing floor, which were used to record around 2,000 text conversations per day. The conversations, conducted on
