CLS Announces New Launch Schedule Final Version To Be Delivered in 2001

NEW YORK--CLS Services, the industry body behind the continuous-linked settlement system aiming to eradicate settlement risk from the foreign exchange markets, has finally announced its delayed roll-out schedule.

Under the new schedule, IBM--which, with the Society for World Interbank Financial Transactions (Swift), is building the technology for CLS--will deliver the final version of the core systems early next year.
