Cantor/Icap verdict reached

LONDON -- A verdict was reached by a High Court judge last week over broker Icap’s alleged poaching of staff from rival Cantor Fitzgerald -- but there was no clear victor.

Although Icap was charged with luring one broker from Cantor in London after the September 11 terrorist attacks that killed nearly 700 of Cantor’s New York staff, it was cleared of poaching the other two brokers named in the case.
