Bulk Of U.S. Currency Fund Managers Finish Strongly In Volatile First Half

The volatile foreign exchange markets this year have meant a performance bonanza for currency fund managers who played it right. First-half performance, as tracked by the Ferrell FX Index, ran from a high of 30.32 percent, to a low of negative 13.52 percent. But the index itself gained by 6.21 percent, up from the previous year's first-half performance of up 0.3 percent.
