HSBC Streamlines Reporting Lines In 'Rationalisation' Of Asia-Pacific

HSBC Holdings has begun the process of "rationalising reporting lines" in its Asia-Pacific region, according to Ian Stewart, group market risk manager, who is based in London.

Following treasurer Chris Pavlou's transfer to Tokyo earlier this month, the bank has restructured the job in Hong Kong under two senior managers who are responsible for business development and back-office and controls, respectively.
