Union Bank of Switzerland has hired Robin Fullard for the new position of vice president, head of FX sales in its Toronto operation. Fullard comes from the sales desk at Credit Suisse. UBS is renewing an effort to break into the Canadian foreign exchange market in order to gain marketshare in that region, says Seth Cohen, sales head in New York. "A lot of foreign banks have vacated that region and we feel that this is a good time to build there," he says, adding that the bank is looking to make
