Reuters Reports Double-Digit Growth Led By Transaction Services Sector

Despite previous warnings that double-digit growth could not be guaranteed, Reuters' annual results for 1995 show turnover up 17 per cent at £2.703 billion ($4.19 billion) at actual exchange rates, up 15 per cent allowing for currency fluctuations.
However, the vendor reports a slowdown in recurring revenues from information services, which slowed in the second half of the year largely due to rationalisations and mergers.
