EBS names Citibanker as interim chairman

LONDON -- Citibanker Jack Jeffery becomes interim chief executive of EBS today (Monday, December 3), following the resignation of chairman and chief executive Peter Bartko late last month.
Jeffery’s role is "definitely not permanent", said the EBS spokesperson in London, and the partnership board, composed of 12 banks (including Citi) and the Minex Corporation, is currently considering its options for a permanent chairman and a separate chief executive.
