T&TL tight-lipped on sale rumours

LONDON -- Inter-dealer forex broker Tullett & Tokyo Liberty declined to comment last week on market speculation regarding a potential sale of the firm.

It had confirmed in a September 17 statement that the board had received an initial expression of interest "which may or may not lead to an offer for the company", but declined again last week to comment on the identity of the potential buyer, although market speculation has pointed to UK stockbroker Collins Stewart. Collins Stewart also declined
