Barman Leaves Credit Suisse To Join Wertheim Schroder

Thomas Barman left his post as treasurer of Credit Suisse in New York on Tuesday to join Wertheim Schroder & Co. Inc. as director of international money markets.
Barman, who had been with Credit Suisse for six years, is set to start with Wertheim August 1. He says that he hopes to do some short term portfolio management at the firm, a new area for the investment bank, which has largely specialized in equity markets. A spokeswoman at Wertheim refused to comment on the company's move into this new
