Reuters Launches Next Generation Forex Trading Station, Dealing-3000

LONDON--Reuters, the information and financial market technology provider, launched its Dealing 3000 foreign exchange trading station on January 19.

Initial reaction to the product has been mixed. Although most trading floors will soon start upgrading their equipment to D-3000, some of those that have seen it have been unimpressed.

"D-3000 is more or less the same as the old one, but it uses Windows," says one analyst. "In one way that’s great--the old system is not bust, so why fix it?--and so
