CFTC issues fraud warning

WASHINGTON, DC -- US regulator the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) issued a public warning last week against fraudulent trading firms using information related to the September 11 attacks to attract investors.

Investors were asked to be wary of companies promising high returns on commodity derivatives investments, based on information about the terrorist attacks, and the subsequent war against terrorism.
