Credit Lyonnais does not break out interim forex trading revenues, but does report a 9 per cent increase in total banking income to FRF23.358 billion ($3.981 billion) from FRF21.452 billion ($4.162 billion) a year ago. First half earnings were converted into US dollars using the US dollar/French franc conversion rate of 5.8665 for June 30, 1997 and 5.1540 for June 28, 1996. The exchange rates were provided by Reuters.
