Citi, Deutsche And WDR Team Up To Launch Online Forex Options Broking

LONDON--As competition heats up in the forex markets Citibank, Deutsche Bank and UBS Warburg announced last week they plan to launch a joint internet broking system for FX options.

The system, to be called Volbroker.com will start trading in the second quarter, 2000 and be based in London.

The 24-hour service will operate across all time zones, competing for a share of the US$5 trillion currency options market currently traded through brokers.
