Goldman Sachs Names 58 Partners, Forex Trading Head Makes Ranks

Goldman, Sachs & Co. has named 58 new general partners, reportedly the largest number ever, to take effect at the beginning of the investment bank's new fiscal year on November 26. Among those given what many consider is the most prestigious positions on Wall Street are several forex professionals, including Peter Gerhard, head of the investment bank's foreign exchange trading desk in New York.
