Chase Puts Foreign Exchange Products On Global Risk Management System

Chase Manhattan Bank plans to put its foreign exchange division onto its automated credit-risk management system later this summer, say bank officials. It is a long-anticipated move that will put the finishing touches on the bank's effort to examine credit risk on a global basis. The new system will alter the way Chase calculates and aggregates risk in foreign exchange products, enabling the bank to expand its trading.
