The Kiwi/Aussie cross looks set to continue slipping since the highs seen in June. But global uncertainty is not the only contributing factor, says Nick Bennenbroek (right), international economist at Brown Brothers Harriman in New York

Since winning July’s general election, New Zealand’s Labour party policy focus is now to require a more flexible policy approach by the central bank. That suggests less rapid tightening by the Reserve Bank of New Zealand (RBNZ), and so do the economic indicators
