Telerate showed a "digital" version of the Minex FX order matching service at Forex '94 in London earlier this month. The digital variant doesn't require a dedicated terminal; rather it displays Minex as a window on Microsoft windows PCs and Unix workstations. The digital version isn't yet fully launched, although Telerate officials say it is being tested at the London branches of Bankers Trust, Chase Manhattan Bank, Mitsubishi Bank and Sakura Bank.
