Societe Generale Builds Tokyo Operation; Starts 24-Hour Japanese Yen Trading Desk

Societe Generale has been building its forex team in Tokyo, hiring as many as 10 dealers in recent months, says Roy Tsuji, manager of the spot interbank FX desk. Additionally, Tsuji says, the bank has started a 24-hour Japanese yen desk.
