First Chicago Reorganizes; Cues From Investment Bank?

According to several sources, First National Bank of Chicago’s head office (Chi-Chi) has undergone the first of two restructuring moves in an attempt to become more like an investment banking entity.

One source at the bank says that the restructuring will enable corporate clients to do one-stop shopping rather than calling separate areas within the treasury department to fulfill its various needs.

The source says Chi-Chi will be revamping its corporate desk so that it can engage in cross marketing
