Bank Of America Bolsters FX Team Ahead Of Merger With NationsBank

NEW YORK--Bank of America (BofA) has expanded its global FX operations with a series of appointments across its trading, marketing, strategy and risk analysis units. The move comes as the bank prepares for its merger with US super-regional bank, NationsBank, which stands to further enhance the bank's broad customer base (FXW, April 20).

In London, Steve Bassi joins as the new chief spot FX dealer, while Darren Barker joins as a senior spot trader. Both report to Conor Dufficy, head of European FX
