Goldman's Bonuses Excite Forex Traders But Salaries Remain Flat

NEW YORK--Bonus expectations for US forex staff this year have been buoyed up by the announcement of Goldman Sachs results, released in December.

Goldman Sachs--the first house to announce bonus results for 1999--has set a trend likely to be followed by other banks, say recruiters.
