Saxo links spreads and liquidity

Danish forex dealer Saxo Bank has overhauled its pricing structure to link spread width to liquidity, the bank said last week.

The bank previously quoted fixed spreads of three pips for institutional clients. Now, spreads will narrow in times of heightened FX liquidity.

Saxo has also increased its margin in major currency pairs for clients. For the first $10,000 deposited in margin collateral accounts, it will offer a 1% margin, so clients may leverage up to 100
