USFX Salaries Stagnate

NEW YORK -- FX dealers in New York earn less than they did five years ago, while average salaries have remained flat for several years, according to the 2001 KPA Financial Services Industry Salary Survey.

This year, average base salary for an FX trader at vice-president level is $150,000 -- $20,000 below average base salaries paid to a vice-president FX trader in 1996, according to KPA.

Assistant vice-president FX traders, who now earn an average base salary of $110,000, are also paid less than
