Icap buys hedge fund analytics platform
An investor in Enso Financial Analytics since 2013, the interdealer broker aims to broaden its fintech presence
Icap has acquired Enso Financial Analytics, a provider of a data analytics platform for hedge funds and prime brokers, as it seeks to develop its fintech offering.
The interdealer broker has been an investor in Enso since 2013, through Euclid Opportunities, its fintech investment incubator, founded by Steve Gibson in 2011. Following the acquisition, Enso will become a subsidiary of Icap's post-trade risk and information (PTRI) division.
