BNY Mellon's Kablawi becomes head of Emea investment

His former role will be filled by Daron Pearce, currently chief executive of global financial institutions for asset services

BNY Mellon has appointed Hani Kablawi as head of investment services for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (Emea), in a promotion from his previous role of head of asset servicing for Emea, which he occupied for four years.

In his new role, Kablawi will lead business strategy, and his remit will span the bank's services and products across assets, alternative investment, corporate trust, broker-dealer, depositary receipts and treasury.
