Pearson leaves RBS

Head of FX exits the bank following sabbatical

James Pearson, head of FX spot trading at RBS, has left the bank after more than four years in the role.

He took a sabbatical for personal reasons in April 2014 and was supposed to resume his role that September, a spokesperson for RBS confirmed at the time.

London-based Pearson joined RBS as head of FX spot trading for Europe in August 2011, reporting locally to Tim Carrington.

According to an emailed statement from a spokesperson for RBS seen by FX Week in April 2014, Pearson's decision to
