Tom Grant leaves the Spanish bank in New York

Tom Grant, head of foreign exchange sales and trading for the US at BBVA, has left the firm during the past two weeks.

Based in New York, Grant reported to Andrew Brown, global head of FX in London. His future plans are not yet known.

Grant worked at BBVA for four years, during which he was responsible for a team of 11 and helped to build the bank's offering for commercial, corporate and institutional clients with a focus on Latin American markets.
