HSBC loses FX derivatives chief Craignou

Vincent Craignou, managing director and global head of foreign exchange and precious metals derivatives at HSBC, has left the bank after more than 10 years.

Based in London, Craignou occupied a high-profile role within the FX business and spoke regularly on behalf of HSBC on key issues such as the impact of regulations and the importance of emerging currencies. He reported locally to Frederic Boillereau, global head of FX and commodities.
