FX indexes head exits HSBC

Tamas Korchmaros, head of foreign exchange indexes, currency options, at HSBC, has left the bank.

Based in London, Korchmaros reported to Vincent Craignou, global head of FX and precious metals derivatives in London. During his time at HSBC, the bank created its first algorithmic foreign exchange index, the Global FX Carry Index, which was launched in October last year.

Korchmaros, who has left the industry to focus on property investment in Budapest, had been at HSBC for three years. He joined
