RBS hires FX options head for Americas

Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) has appointed Sal Rubino as head of foreign exchange options trading for the Americas.

Based in Stamford, Connecticut, Rubino reports to Steve Kemp, head of FX for North America, and Richard Fawcett, global head of FX options. He has 25 years of experience in the industry, having worked previously at Commerzbank, MF Global, Citi Alternative Investments and JP Morgan.

The appointment comes after rival bank Nomura hired Ian White, RBS's former head of FX options
