Westpac hires FX options trader from Credit Suisse
Australian bank Westpac has hired Simeon Tsonev, a foreign exchange options trader from Credit Suisse. Based in London, Tsonev reports locally to Asif Ghiawadwala, co-head of global foreign exchange options. He was at Credit Suisse for three years, mostly in London as an options trader but spending almost a year in New York as a quantitative research associate. Tsonev has also worked previously as an interest rate trader at DE Shaw.
