Morgan Stanley poaches trading head from Citi

Giovanni Pillitteri, managing director and co-head of foreign exchange automatic trading at Citi in New York, has left the bank and will join Morgan Stanley later this year.

Pillitteri had been at Citi since 2008 and was jointly responsible, along with Fergal Walsh, for the bank's Autotrader automated trading and electronic pricing platform. Pillitteri and Walsh reported to Simon Jones, global head of FX e-trading in London.
