UBS appoints EM FX options head

UBS has appointed Robert Diehl as global head of emerging market foreign exchange options. He will start at the Swiss bank in Zurich in mid-September, before moving to Singapore in early 2013.

Diehl joins UBS from Royal Bank of Scotland, where he has worked for 11 years in London, initially as an emerging markets options trader before being promoted in 2004 to head of FX options trading for central and eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa. In 2010, Diehl became head of emerging markets
