Lloyds hires Deutsche’s Cassidy to head e-commerce and clearing

Lloyds Banking Group has appointed Joe Cassidy as head of electronic commerce and over-the-counter derivatives clearing. Cassidy joins from Deutsche Bank, where he was head of rates prime brokerage and OTC clearing.

Based in London, Cassidy starts in his new role today and reports locally to Clare Francis, head of sales for Lloyds Bank Wholesale Banking and Markets. He will focus on strengthening and expanding the bank's capabilities in e-commerce and clearing.
