Banca IMI hires Citi’s Salcioli to head FX sales

Banca IMI, the investment banking arm of Italian bank Intesa Sanpaolo, has appointed Gianmarco Salcioli as global head of foreign exchange sales, as it continues the expansion of its FX business.

Based in Milan, Salcioli will work to develop the bank's penetration among institutional and corporate clients globally. He will report to Nicola Baiocchi Di Silvestri, global head of corporate risk solutions.

Salcioli joins from Citi, where he was head of FX sales for Italy and reported to Leonardo
