Barclays Wealth recruits UBS veteran to head FX

Barclays Wealth has appointed Julian Wantling as head of global foreign exchange.

Based in London, Wantling joins the wealth management firm this month, reporting to Thomas Fekete, head of investment products for the UK and Europe, the Middle East and Africa (Emea).

Wantling joins from UBS, where he has spent 25 years, most recently in the role of global head of precious metals distribution. He has also held FX distribution roles both for the investment bank and the wealth management division.
