MF Global hires Kemp and Olesen to drive fresh strategy

New York-based commodities and listed-derivatives broker-dealer MF Global has made clear its intentions to grow its foreign exchange footprint with the appointment of James Kemp as global head of FX in New York and Lars Olesen as chief operating officer for Europe, based in London.

Kemp joins from quantitative FX trading firm Cogence Capital, where he was co-founder and partner. He started his career at Citi, where his roles included global head of spot trading and head of FX in North America
